I found a new surface treatment for the steel, it gives great oily effects... see the detail pictures below.
This piece is inspired by seeing waves of rain coming in the distance, interspersed with shafts of sunlight. I used Golden Section for this work: the bands of light add up to a ratio of the proportions of the whole.
