With the lights I try to make something that works well purely as a sculptural object, but that also becomes transformed, when lit and silhouetted, into something wholly different.
Most lighting is boring and uses the potential of the medium conservatively. These lights fill the room with spectacular sprays of points of light, textures coat surfaces and a beautiful ambience is created. For inspiration I mostly look towards bio-luminescent sea creatures.
Most lights pictured have been sold, but some are available by commission to similar design. from £320
