I made a gate for a local Italian restaurant. The gate is made from pine treated with linseed oil, the steel is untreated and will rust and stain the wood; this gate will get better and better with time and weathering. I wanted a kind of 'modern medieval' look; solid, heavy, elaborate hinges and metalwork... the arched doorway provided an ideal frame.
