I based this piece on the classical painting of the same name on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. (except actually I think it's called 'the creation of adam'.. not sure... look it up if it bothers you!.) It's difficult to describe what components of the original that I used, but I hope you may be able to see it(?). I also liked the ambiguity of the phrase "creation of man".
