burned-laquer finish is very difficult to photograph as it's slightly irridescent
and changes with viewpoint; yellows and blues bloom out and then disappear
as you pass...it's best experienced whilst you're moving. For me this is
pleasing because it leads back to the idea of still frames from films, isolated
